In advance of the United Nations’ Summit of the Future, University World News is publishing the latest in its series of special reports on higher education and sustainability. PHOTO The University of Victoria in Canada’s temperate rain forest zone, on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, has blazed a global trail in integrating education for sustainable development with an expansive range of courses and activities, deepening its sustainability research and learning impact.
