Chief adviser calls on universities to grow entrepreneurs

Chief Adviser of Bangladesh Professor Muhammad Yunus on Saturday 29 March said universities should build young people to become successful entrepreneurs rather than mere job seekers, reports The Business Standard.

“I keep on promoting the idea that all human beings are born to be entrepreneurs, not job seekers,” he said, stressing that doing a job is a wrong idea and a continuation of the tradition of slavery.

Yunus made the remarks while delivering a speech at Peking University in the Chinese capital city. Earlier, an honorary doctorate was conferred on him by Peking University in a ceremony held at the university’s conference.
