Ministry to introduce doctoral and faculty training courses
Cambodia’s Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport plans to introduce doctoral and faculty training courses at the National Institute of Education and other higher education institutions, writes Tith Kongnov for Khmer Times. Hang Chuon Naron, minister of education, youth and sport, said that the aim is to ensure quality and innovative training in the higher education sector.The minister made the announcement during a meeting held to discuss the development of higher education institutions at the ministry of education on Wednesday 1 November. He said that the plan to support doctoral training includes providing support to higher education institutions to implement and improve doctoral programmes, offering technical support in the preparation and operation of research journals and research writings for publication.
Naron said the ministry will prepare a guidebook on research ethics and assessment tools and establish a committee to monitor the quality of doctoral training.
