University publishes cartoon series on geothermal energy

The University of Medellin in Colombia, with AGEOCOL and UNESCO IGCP 636, have published a series of educational animated videos specially designed to explain the fundamentals of geothermal energy to children and young people, writes Carlo Cariaga for Think Geo Energy.

The Colombian Geothermal Association (AGEOCOL), the UNESCO IGCP 636 project, and the University of Medellin, announce the launch of the long-awaited educational series of comic-book videos entitled Kutani and the geothermal mission. This captivating series consists of seven episodes of educational cartoons in Spanish.

The story of this innovative series has been created by Jennifer Matute De La Vega and Mari Luz Quispe Kana, two talented recent graduates from the University of MedellĂ­n. It is important to note that both students obtained a scholarship from the Peruvian government to study environmental engineering in Colombia. As part of their undergraduate degree work, Jennifer and Mari Luz dedicated themselves to the creation of this educational series that promises to captivate and educate its audience.
