To work in Singapore, study at one of these universities

Only seven Australian universities have made the grade in a new points-based system the Singapore government is introducing to evaluate applications from would-be expats, writes Emma Connors for the Australian Financial Review.

The new system is a major shake-up of the process used to judge applications for the employment passes used by many expat professionals working in the regional hub.

Singapore has snubbed the University of Adelaide, which is the only one of Australia’s Group of Eight institutions not included on the list of 121 “top tier” universities and 19 technical institutions.
