Free flights for students sitting entry exams in France
Morocco’s Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research signed an agreement with Royal Air Maroc to provide Moroccan students with 300 free round-trip tickets to France to sit for oral entrance exams to France’s leading engineering and business schools, writes Safae Daoudi for Morocco World News.The news was announced on Facebook by the Minister of Education, Said Amzazi. The initiative seeks to showcase Morocco’s commitment to promoting education overseas and is awarded on merit to students who are enrolled, or pursuing their studies, in the preparatory centres for access to higher education, in Morocco for the first two years and those who have been accepted to the oral examinations in France to sit for entrance exams to France’s universities. The students must also be eligible for Moroccan merit scholarships for the year 2021-22, according to the list defined by the ministry.
Similar programmes have been in place since 2012, as part of an agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Management Training and Royal Air Maroc, to provide 300 Moroccan students with free tickets to entrance exams to France’s universities.
