Belgian institute partners with Moroccan universities

The Institute for Higher Studies in Social Communications (IHECS) of Brussels, Belgium, has signed partnerships with a number of Moroccan higher education institutions, including the International University of Rabat (UIR), writes Yahia Hatim for Morocco World News.

IHECS signed a partnership agreement with UIR on 19 February, which aims to formalise a lasting collaboration between the institutions. The partnership will allow the exchange of students, teachers and educational materials between UIR and IHECS. It also provides for the organisation of joint research projects, conferences and seminars on several subjects and disciplines.

According to a press release, UIR and IHECS officials will work to finalise training programmes in journalism and communication in the coming weeks. The first students will be able to enrol in the joint programmes as early as September 2020.
