Huawei signs deal with ministry of higher education

Vincent Sun, CEO of Huawei Egypt, and Dr Mohamed El Tayeb, Egypt’s assistant minister of higher education, signed a memorandum of understanding on 15 October on strategic cooperation in information and communications technology, reports Egypt Today.

The two sides will work together to develop high-level information and communications technology talent among youth in Egypt to bridge the gap between college graduates’ capabilities and enterprises’ expectations for graduates.

Based on the agreement, Huawei will send global senior experts to train students at the universities of Egypt and promote the implementation of professional technical certification. At the same time, Huawei will provide internships for outstanding students.
