CHINA: Nine in 10 students feel the burden of high fees

An overwhelming 91% of college students in China said in a survey that their tuition fee was higher than expected, according to the Worker's Daily, writes Zhao Chunzhe for China Daily.

The result of a survey conducted by the China National Centre for Students' Assistance Administration, shows that most students believed their tuition was too high, with only 8% saying it was reasonable and 1% saying the tuition was low.

However, 85% of surveyed students agreed that their fees helped colleges improve services, the paper said.
